Welcome to My Gap Year!

Follow along with me as I take a year off from school to serve the Lord on mission. This September, I will be taking part in a gap year, where I will get to spend nine months serving the Lord in communities across the globe. The gap year is coordinated by CRU, which is an organization that is passionate about helping people know God personally and experience His love. The purpose of the Gap Year is to not only grow personally but also to bring the Good News of the Gospel to those who don’t know Christ. I will spend one month in Orlando, training and getting to know my teammates before we head overseas for a total of eight months. During our time abroad, we will travel to Thailand and Croatia. Our ministry may look different in each country and could consist of participating in sports ministries, partnering with local high schools, and/or working in refugee camps. The goal of our time in each country is to build relationships with the purpose of evangelism and discipleship. I will be using this blog to update and share about how God is working throughout the year.
